Oven Fried Chicken


I love fried chicken, but it's ridiculous how many calories it is. I decided to use a "shake and bake" kind of recipe instead. I will no longer be going to Church's chicken!

1 12 pkg of chicken. You can use legs, thighs, boneless skinless chicken breasts, etc
2 cups of Italian breadcrumbs
1 container of plain non fat yogurt
2 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp Creole seasoning
1 tsp Mrs Dash Garlic and Herb seasoning
1/2 tsp ground red pepper
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
black pepper to taste
cooking spray or mist olive oil
1 Gallon size Ziploc bag

Mix all of your dry ingredients together and place in the Ziploc bag. Brush chicken with yogurt and throw it in the bag. Shake it up until it is breaded well. Place chicken in dish coated with cooking spray or misted olive oil. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until juices run clear.
